The show has been going really well, actually better than I expected. The Curator from the Michigan State Museum, will be taking 2 of the pieces for an exhibit of Tromp L’oeil which will be of works from the 1800’s to the present. (for those (like me) who didn’t know what a Tromp l’oeil is, according to Ron Francis’ website, Trompe l'oeil murals are paintings, usually on a wall, (or ceiling, floor etc.), that when viewed from the right position, should deceive the viewer into thinking it is real. Trompe l'oeil is French for “trick the eye").
Explain to me, about your relationship with Casino Fortune?
Online gambling has a world wide appeal. My partnership with them will include showcasing my artwork, which can be seen on my web site, but also on the Casino Fortune web site. This large European market will bring this international exposure, to my artwork. Being in The Sopranos, has brought recognition as an actor to me, this will be a conduit, for giving my artwork exposure. I’ve been in Europe, and people come up to me on the street, which have seen me on the show.
What is in your future?
I am working on finishing a series of films. I appeared in La Arana (which means The Spider), a short film, who was shown at the NY Film Festival and the NY Latino Film Festival. I also worked on the movie Volare, which is based on a 1946 radio show, that was recently shown at the Berlin Film Festival. Presently, I am producing a film, which will be totally filmed in Italy. I’m pretty excited about that.
So, if you are looking to see some of Federico’s fabulous artwork, you know have 2 places, you can do it on line.
